What is Nox Imperialis?
Nox Imperialis is a PvP server that features many smoothly-integrated RPG elements including town building, quests, and levelling. We opened our doors on July 4, 2011 and have been growing every day. Our community is already populated with many excellent builders and fighters, and they’re always looking for company. Check us out!

What are the Rules?
No client hacks or mods. We have several several plugins that detect and prevent cheating. If you’re caught, you’re gone.
Don’t be a cunt. We’re all here to have a good time. If you’re only here to make trouble, go somewhere else.
Don’t play dumb. When you’re confronted with something like cheating, confess. We might go easy on you.
Read everything. The signs at spawn are there for a reason. Asking questions that are already answered is a great way to get kicked from the server.
Respect the staff. We’re here to ensure everyone’s having a good time. Try to keep that in mind, alright?

How do I get build rights?
When you first join the server, you’ll end up in a spawn area filled with information about how things work. As a Guest, you won’t be able to build, fight, or buy from the merchants until you obtain build rights.

Getting build rights couldn’t be simpler. All that’s required is to post your in-game name *HERE* , and then file a ticket saying you’re good to go! To file a ticket, type /modreq followed by a short message like “I’ve signed up for build rights.” Our team of moderators will help you out as soon as they can. If you file a ticket, getting build rights can take as little as 5 minutes.

Okay so I’ve applied. What next?
Now the fun really begins! The center of the server is a large, protected Fortress-City that houses all the shops, including the bank. Outside of its boundaries, it’s pure lawlessness. If you don’t want to get ambushed, killed, and robbed, then you had better stay on your toes! Griefing and theft is completely unrestricted in the wilderness, so if you’re going to build, do it discreetly!
Joining a town is a great way to stay protected, though thieves can still rummage through your chests if you’re not careful!

How do towns work?
Towns are protected areas that prevent griefing by outsiders. They cost a lot of money to make, and have a daily upkeep costs that goes up based on how many people live in your town. If you join a town, you are not allowed to grief your neighbor’s structures or steal their goods. If you do, you’re banned. You can steal from towns that you don’t live in, but only if they aren’t in your nation.

How do I make money?
There are several ways to earn Drachs, our server’s currency. The simplest is to complete quests for the NPC merchants that live in the Fortress-City of Nox. Another way is to mine gold and sell the ingots at the Bank. If you’d rather steal for a living, that’s perfectly acceptable as well, provided you don’t do it to your neighbors!
Of course if you’re feeling adventurous, there’s always Gehenna…

What is Gehenna?
Gehenna is a twisted, ruined wasteland filled with labyrinthean dungeons. Inside these dungeons are fiendish monsters, deadly traps, and piles of loot! Getting there won’t be easy: Most of its portals are hidden, and others belong to towns that guard them jealously from outsiders! If you gain entrance, be sure to come prepared. It’s dangerous!

I have a question that’s not answered here, where do I go?
